Monica Cruz
Monica is a Case Manager at Francis Law Center with nearly three years of experience in immigration law. She focuses primarily on family-based immigration and humanitarian cases, helping clients and their families navigate the immigration process. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University, with double minors in Psychology and Sociology. She also received her Paralegal Certificate from Elgin Community College and was a member of the Northern Illinois Pre-Law Honors Society.
Monica is fluent in English and Spanish and is passionate about helping families stay together and supporting people as they work toward building a future in the United States. For her, the most rewarding part of her work is knowing that she can make a positive difference in someone’s life. In addition to her work at Francis Law Center, Monica is enlisted in the U.S. Army. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son and trying new restaurants together.
