Eliana Efthymiu
Eliana is a Senior Paralegal at Francis Law Center with six years of experience in U.S. immigration law. Since beginning a career in immigration in 2020, [NAME] has worked with four immigration law firms and gained experience across a wide range of case types. She earned a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina in 2023, graduating Magna Cum Laude. The degree is equivalent to a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics.
At Francis Law Center, she focuses on family-based and humanitarian immigration matters, including USCIS and NVC filings, affirmative asylum, VAWA, U visas, waivers, Cuban adjustment of status, and FOIA requests. As a Senior Paralegal, she also reviews the work of other team members, assists with case management processes, and helps ensure filings are accurate, complete, and organized.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Greek, with basic knowledge of Portuguese, she especially enjoys helping families unite through the immigration process. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, working out, and spending weekends outdoors, especially surrounded by nature and away from the city.
