Neil Gallegos

Neil Gallegos

Paralegal Neilmar Gallegos, goes by Neil for short. Neil’s interest in immigration first began when he started working as a paralegal helping families that have been crime victims fighting for u-visas. As a second-generation Mexican American growing up in a tight-knit Mexican family, Neil faced many obstacles, including financial struggles and a lack of access to educational resources.

However, he was inspired by his family’s work ethic and their unwavering support to pursue his passion of working in the legal profession. His upbringings have instilled in him a deep sense of compassion and empathy for others, and he has dedicated his time and expertise to help those who have faced systematic barriers and discrimination.

Neil’s diverse work experience has also contributed to his success. He excelled in customer service and even reached the position of construction foreman at one point in his career. These experiences taught him valuable skills such as leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication, which he has applied to his role as a paralegal.

Today, Neil takes pride in being able to interact with and help the immigrant community. So that they may come here to the United States and be with their loved ones. Neil attended Morton community College for his Associates Degree.
