Paralegal Alexandra (Alex) Buelow joined the Francis Law Center team in July of 2021. She works at our Madison office. Paralegal Alex is originally from a small town in central Wisconsin. Her interest in immigration began at age 12 in a second language classroom.

Years later, her interest grew while teacher-shadowing in ESL classrooms, empathizing with students’ anxieties on how to remain in the United States without worry after their academic programs ended. Today, her interest in immigration has transformed into the professional goal of supporting individuals with their immigration paperwork so they may remain in the United States legally and permanently.

Alex completed Fundación José Ortega y Gasset, Advanced-Level Spanish Language Immersion and attended University of Minnesota – Twin Cities for her Bachelor Degree and Madison College for Paralegal Post-Baccalaureate Technical Diploma.
